An aging, Hollywood icon, grapples with the horrors that plague the final years of his life. Many know Marlon Brando by the images we can recall in memories of our favorite films. The charm. The iconic lines. The voice. Few remember the reclusive giant that sat atop the Mulholland Hill, who longed to return to the places he loved the most, and patch the framework of a broken family. This play explores the inner workings of his obesity, his isolation, his soul, and giving a voice to those who knew him...as Dad.
Special thank you to the friends/family of Marlon that I had a chance to speak with. I will forever be grateful for the generosity of your words and stories.
This play was written and intended for the stage.
